Kingston Courtyard Ban On E-Cigarettes

E-Cigarettes are the latest smoking accessory banned by Kingston University in an attempt to stop second-hand smoke intake.
Students smoking the electronic cigarettes could face being reprimanded if they are caught in unassigned smoking areas, including the John Galsworthy courtyard.
Ian Appleford, Head of Health, Safety and Security at Kingston University, said: “The University treats e-cigarettes in the same way as any other smoking material in its smoking policy. We have recently updated our signage around the University to clarify this.”

Graphic Design Students Aim To Raise £25K With Re-Freshers Event

Kingston University graphic design students have released tickets for the course’s annual Re-Freshers event to fund their final year show.
The social, which will be held at the Hippodrome on Tuesday October 24, is one of several events scheduled to raise £25,000 for the exhibition.
Third-year graphic design student Harry Archer, 22, said: “Re-Freshers is going to be the biggest night of the year so far.

Thriller Debut Game In New League For Kingston Hockey

Kingston striker Ben Spencer saved the day, scoring the equaliser for Kingston a few minutes before the final whistle was blown.
It was an action packed game between Kingston and Brighton, ending with a total of 10 goals.
Kingston Cougars’ hockey captain Tom Banner, 21, said: “I thought we played really well, especially considering it was our first game of the season. We made quite a few mistakes at the back in the second half, which ultimately cost us the win, but it was good to see commitment from the boys.”

Whilst focusing on her Fashion BA (Hons) degree, Clark worked closely at honing her technique as well as her vision. Her distinct style which went to inspire her final collection is communicated immediately by her appearance; a sharp pixie crop haircut, a bespoke beheaded barbie doll crown and her famously exaggerated winged eyeliner, makes her the central focus of the brand.
