Instagram will be the visual platform to exhibit how to find and style cheaper alternatives to designer items and trends.

The Niche & Focus:
The niche of It’s Not Couture is that the Instagram account will show followers what is on trend and how to find a cheaper alternative. It will also enable followers to understand how to style their affordable pieces to look more expensive.

Target Reader:
A woman aged between 18-24 years old, has limited funds but likes to keep up with the latest fashion trends. Enjoys looking for affordable alternatives, but hopes to one day own some statement, designer pieces. She is a consumer of fast fashion and reads a selection of monthly magazines like Vogue, InStyle, Harper's Bazaar, Elle and Tatler. They also get a lot of trend inspiration from who they follow on social media, from celebrities, bloggers and their friends. They want to be at the forefront of the latest trends.

How I Will Keep Them Satisfied:
I will post consistent looks, fits and flat-lays and will always make it clear where I purchased the item, how much it cost and how much they could be saving in comparison to the expensive version vs the cheaper alternative.

Values & Mission:
Showcasing affordable, quality items and brands to my followers, posting content they will use when making their next purchases. My mission is to become an authentic, leading platform for women to use to find the best places for affordable designer alternatives and how they should style them.
